A little About Oak Wood
Oak is a tree or shrub in the genus Quercus of the beech family, Fagaceae. There are approximately 600 extant species of oaks. The common name “oak” also appears in the names of species in related genera, notably Lithocarpus, as well as in those of unrelated species such as Grevillea robusta and the Casuarinaceae.
Oak trees are mostly deciduous except a few oak trees that are evergreen. They are tall and have a thick trunk. Scrub oaks do not grow very tall and have a thin network of branches. Oak trees can grow well in temperate and tropical climates and are found in regions of Asia and North America
